The drug should not be polluted and non-toxic to meet the requirements of general high-speed packaging machines.

(3) Control of packaging materials: Before packaging materials enter the packaging process, an appropriate system must be established to ensure normal acceptance, testing and storage, and scientific and reasonable packaging forms to ensure safe and effective drug play.

Suitability of pharmaceutical packaging materials

(1) Packaging of solid preparations

Tablets and capsules are now trending in plastic, foil, and foil packs. The commonly used materials are PA/AL/PVC or PET/AL/PET, with a thickness of about 45-50 microns.

The high-barrier infusion bag is usually made of transparent material to facilitate the observation of liquid usage. The large infusion is developing from the original glass bottle to the disposable polypropylene plastic packaging. Generally, silica PET or alumina PET is used.

Flexible polyvinyl chloride (PVC) bags are used as bulk infusion packaging in hospital preparation rooms.
